Lead Concept Artist Outsourcing (f/m/d)

We are currently looking for a Lead Concept Artist to manage one or more outsourcing teams and support in leading our internal 2D team . You will be working on the Destroy All Humans! IP and  other upcoming high quality projects with Unreal Engine.

Requirements: 

  • Shipped 1 or more games as a lead concept artist/outsourcing manager
  • 5+ years’ experience at a game studio working as a senior concept artist
  • Team management experience, able to give feedbacks on respect of style/quality and technical requirements
  • Able to work on different visual styles from Realistic to stylized
  • Create 2D concept art under requirement with high efficiency, including: characters, backgrounds, buildings, props and scenes
  • Assist Creative Director and Game Designer to establish game world in the vision of the game concept
  • Research and propose concept references
  • Collaborate with technical Art director on providing concepts respecting technical constraints related to real time 3d engine.
  • Manage outsourcing teams and plan their work
  • Communicating with other teams to manage dependencies

Pluses: 

  • Modeling/mapping/texturing skills.
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools (for quick 3D block-outs and handovers)
  • Experience with open world games.
  • Self-motivated, problem solver
